I mean, how does it even stabilise?! How does the knee cap actually stay there?!\u00a0\ud83d\ude31 My arms aren&#8217;t very firm, they are pretty flabby actually, so the feeling&#8217;s like trying to find\u00a0footing in a lump of jelly.<\/p>\n<p>In week 1, we attempted the baby crow pose and I ACTUALLY MANAGED TO DO IT!<\/p>\n<p>Today, in the midst of week 4, we were taught the actual crow pose.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com\/sporteluxe-wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/CROW.gif?fit=1068%2C712&amp;ssl=1\" width=\"1068\" height=\"712\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Expectations vs Reality \ud83d\ude22<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i.giphy.com\/d2dy70jMwsYhi.gif\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Well,\u00a0this was <em>my<\/em> reality anyway. To be honest I was really disheartened, because everyone managed to do it\u00a0and I was\u00a0probably the only one still struggling to lift\u00a0the toes.<\/p>\n<p>One thing about Yoga that I really appreciate&#8230; Is it&#8217;s non-competitiveness nature. The practice itself encourages stability and self-awareness. The competition is MANmade! I\u00a0found myself so fixated on the outcome that I forget to enjoy and understand the process of getting there. Everyone progresses at their own pace and timing. I might not be able to hold myself in the asana now, but I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll be able to get it once my body is stronger. Right now, my focus should be on engaging the correct muscles, keeping the alignment and building strength.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c<em>Self<\/em>&#8211;<em>possessed<\/em>,\u00a0<em>resolute<\/em>, act without any thought of results,\u00a0<em>open to success or failure<\/em>.
