Enjoying the ashtanga challenge from my perspective.
Palms together with arms straightened overhead may look easy, but its good enough to make my warrior and
chair pose tremble because of my shoulder tightness. There are quite a number of checkpoints where look
forward to reach in the sequence. These checkpoints can usually be achieved easily as a movement itself, but
when it comes to stringing all movements together into primary sequence starting from Sun A+B onwards, it’s
a different story. Below are a few the checkpoints I enjoy most.
Bunny hop to tuck handstand after chair pose
Kick up handstand after warrior2
Pressing to handstand right after navasana
Dragonfly pose, crow and back jump to vinyasa
Chakrasana!
Womb pose and rocking 9 times in clockwise direction. I can’t do it yet, but I enjoy it.
For the primary sequence there are plenty of room for improvements. Based on my current level, I think that I
have achieved more than 30% of it. I look forward to improving all other asanas or movements that wasn’t
mentioned. Namaste!
